What is PingPilot.run?
PingPilot.run makes free, stack aware status pages for indie products. Type a homepage and it checks it, finds the app and the API, works out what each one runs on (Vercel, Supabase, Stripe and friends; 24 services to start), and builds a public status page at pingpilot.run/status/[domain]. When something breaks, every alert says whose problem it probably is: your code, or a provider you build on.
Owners claim their page free with a DNS record (one click on Cloudflare), a meta tag, a small file, or a code sent to an address on their domain. Every product gets a Reliability Index from 0 to 100 over the last 30 days, a leaderboard place and a badge for its site and README. Paying never changes a score. You can also connect PingPilot.run to ChatGPT, or to Claude, Cursor and other MCP apps, and ask what’s down.
Free is $0 forever (checks every 5 minutes, email alerts). Pro is $15 a month (checks every minute, Discord, Telegram and webhook alerts, live alerts in your AI chat, your own domain); free for products under $100 MRR.
PingPilot.run is made by Louis Harwood at Avalore Ltd, a small software studio in England (company number 17046103). Contact: hello@pingpilot.run.

FAQ
Is PingPilot.run the same as pingpilot.com?
No. pingpilot.com is a separate company that makes customer-communication tools for platforms such as Jira. PingPilot.run makes free, stack aware status pages for indie products. The two aren’t connected.
Is this the PingPilot VPN, or the PingPilot email or reminder apps?
No. PingPilot.run isn’t a VPN, an email assistant or a reminders app, and has no mobile app. It’s a website that makes status pages, at pingpilot.run.
Is it related to StackAware?
No. “Stack aware status pages” just describes what PingPilot.run makes: each page shows the services your product runs on next to its own status. PingPilot.run has no link to StackAware.
Why is my product on PingPilot.run already?
Someone typed its address in, or Louis added it. PingPilot.run only looks at public pages, the way any visitor does, and only pages that load (see pingpilot.run/bot). To take it down, claim it and remove it, or email hello@pingpilot.run.
Does it cost anything?
No. Your page, unlimited monitors and email alerts are free for good, no card needed. Pro is $15 a month and adds checks every minute and more ways to hear about trouble.
Who makes it?
Louis Harwood, through Avalore Ltd, a UK company.
